Amethyst Shaders offers a vibrant, semi-realistic visual style for Minecraft, inspired by the well-known Complementary Reimagined shaderpack. This project, developed by the Amethyst Group and gamerbenyt, seeks to provide stunning graphical enhancements while retaining a distinct, lively atmosphere.

- Support for Distant Horizons and PBR: Seamless integration with advanced rendering techniques for improved distant terrain and physically-based rendering effects.
- Daytime Sky Enhancements: Experience a noticeably deeper blue sky during daylight hours for a more realistic environment.
- Unique Cloud Outlines: Clouds now feature a thick, shiny outline, adding depth and style to the visuals.
- Increased Color Vibrancy: All blocks appear with enhanced color saturation, resulting in a brighter and more vivid world.
- Enhanced Nether Visuals: The Nether benefits from greater contrast, showcasing brighter blues in areas like soul sand valleys.
- The End Dimension Upgrades: Enjoy brighter beams and star-filled skies, with a more pronounced blue-purple hue in this mysterious dimension.

- Visual Style Options: While Amethyst Shaders focuses on the Reimagined style, users can opt for the Unbound visual style similar to the standard Complementary pack if preferred.
Development Status
Amethyst Shaders is still in early alpha and may contain bugs. For best results, users are encouraged to check for updates regularly.
Compatibility Information
This shaderpack is primarily built and tested with Iris. While some compatibility with Optifine exists due to the shared base with Complementary Reimagined, not all features are guaranteed to work perfectly with Optifine. Using Iris is recommended for the best experience.
